"We like the tea room and go there whenever we visit Pigeon Forge. The salmon burger is Ron’ s favorite..I have liked everything that I have ordered. I don’t know our waitress’s name but she has waited on us several times before..She is one busy lady and does an excellent job..I got the bread pudding for dessert it was very good...such a quaint place..."

"We have looked for this restaurant for sometime as we know the owner from many years ago. We had a wonderful time and the food as my wife would say ( it is to die for ). We got to meet the owner she was very nice. If you are going to Gatlinburg you must make this place as a ( can’t miss ). You will thank me"

"My first time in Gatlinburg, and we stopped for lunch. We had the Lobster pie and pea salad. I can’t say enough about Lobster pie. Luscious, creamy, and HUGE chunks of lobster throughout. Had I been at home, I probably would have licked the dish. The pea salad was also a new taste. And the tea is divine. Took home a gallon of it. I was so inspired I bought the cookbook!"

"We originally found The Wild Plum Tea Room years ago. Whenever we return to our condo, we always stop by our FAVORITE place to eat, drink the wonderful tea and visit with family and friends. We have referred many family and friends as The Wild Plum Tea Room is the best food in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge area. Everyone tells us they loved it. In 2017 we took our granddaughter, Marley there for her first visit as we did her brother, Drake. Marley fell in love with the place, she is 4 years old. What a joy it was for us to see her experience The Wild Plum Tea Room for the first time. Thank you Wild Plum Tea Room for the fabulous experience we shared with Marley at our favorite place!"

"The Wild Plum has been a favorite for many years ! Since Kacy took over as owner we have increased our visits to 3 times each we were there.  Food always delicious and hot tea out of this world."Have been here twice in the past on trips to our timeshare and absolutely love it! Hope to make it again this year if there is room - didn't make a reservation!"

"Highly recommend! Always take time to enjoy The Wild Plum Tea Room while visiting Gatlinburg, TN. You will not regret dining here."

"The absolute best. Came here with the family after a long morning of hiking. Wish I lived in Tennessee so I could go back every time they change the menu. Cozy, adorable little place with great service and amazing food."

"The food was incredible and the staff very friendly. I had the chef special of the day which consisted of a bison burger which I paired with the German soup. We had the seasonal pumpkin bundt cake which was delicious. The atmosphere was very relaxing and felt at home. They are also dog friendly."

"I vividly remember the Wild Plum discovery from nearly 20 years ago. I still yearn to return and scarf down some wild Plum muffins. Although Cindy gave me the recipe, mine just are not as good as hers. After finding this quaint spot, we returned every day for a week. Just lovely. Try not to miss it."

"We were at The Wild Plum on June 25. It was wonderful. The food was amazing and the service as well. The house ice tea was the best ever! We will be back next time we are down there."

"This place is amazing! My husband and I went here on our honeymoon and just loved the atmosphere! The food was just wonderful, so good that we went back the next day! It's looks a little funny from the outside, like a log cabin rather than a restaurant, but it is probably one of the best places to eat in Gatlingburg. We waited both trips approximately 20 minutes, and many customers ahead of us left, but we waited patiently because the food is that good! It is well worth the wait! The portions are also just enough to fill you up, not too much, not too little. They give you little mini plum muffins and jelly that are just to die for. They change their menu almost daily, so you can eat there several times and see a different menu every time! Going downtown to eat is not even worth it, this place is a must to eat at!"

"WOW, Everything was fantastic! The lobster pie was filled with large chunks of lobster. The salmon burger was seasoned perfectly, cooked so it was moist and the outside was just crispy. 4 choices of salads, all well prepared. This is not a budget restaurant, but do not let the prices scare you. Quality ingredients cost money, and this meal was WELL worth every penny. Oh, and it's a tea room, try the Wild Plum tea. You won't be disappointed."

"Since our visit to your establishment many years ago, we have made it a point of revisiting you when in the area. Your Plum Tea Room Restaurant has never disappointed us. It is a must! I recommended it to our daughter and family. This will be a first for her family. Looking forward to yet another of our wonderful visits with you!"

"I first ate at the Wild Plum 18 years ago, while visiting Gatlinburg with my parents. I remembered how delicious your food was, in a lovely setting. I was vacationing in NC with 2 friends last week, and told them we MUST go home via Gatlinburg and eat at the Wild Plum. We set our GPS to find you, and had lunch...it was just as delightful & scrumptious as it was 18 years ago! My friends loved the setting & their lunches. Your wait staff were very courteous & friendly. Thank you for a memorable dining experience...and don't ever close! The Wild Plum is a gem among too many crappy chain-style restaurants. I will only eat at your establishment if I'm ever in the area again."

"We recently had lunch with you while celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. My sister had recommended your tearoom for several years. We had trouble locating you in the past but our last trip I was prepared with my directions in hand. Our dining experience was delightful. Your salmon sandwich and potato soup was a scrumptious delicacy . My only disappointment was you were out of cookbooks but I will order soon on line. Thank you for your homespun hospitality and delicious food. As a connoisseur of the tearoom delights and tea experiences I give you five stars. Good Job! ps. I would love to receive your potato soup recipe."

"We came back for our 25th anniv. celebration and your place was a must! We were ther 24years ago and wanted to see if the Wild plum Tea was still as good as we remembered. IT WAS GREAT. I would like to get the cookbook that was on your beautiful tables! Is that possible? Love and blessing from your northern flatlanders!"

"The Wild Plum Tea Room is a Very Wonderful place, the food is excellent and the atmosphere is peaceful! I have enjoyed this experience several times and have never been disappointed!!!!! We have delayed our trip to the mountains in Feb by one week , so we will be there until March 2nd. We ALL Love the Tea Room SOOO much, couldn't miss opening weekend next season!!!!!!"

"Delicious food. Beautiful setting. Relaxing atmosphere. Good service. Before the entree, I was brought 2 yummy muffins with local wildflower jelly. I had the chicken salad which was awesome: chicken, apples. almond slivers. Fresh fruit including strawberry, pineapple, and mellon. Cinnamon scone was perfect. Wish I had room for the blackberry cobbler. This is more like being in someone's home. Delightful and unique dining experience. Looking forward to the next time!

Tips: If the parking lot is full, there is overflow lot walking distance. You can call ahead for reservations. Note they do close seasonally, so check website,"

"Lovely experience. There was a bit of a wait to be seated, but I suppose that speaks volumes. The muffins and plum jam served once seated were delicious. I had the macaroni salad and vidalia soup, both delicious. The size of the cup of soup was a little too small. My boyfriend tried the fruit salad which was yummy as well. Overall a one of a kind dining experience. Highly recommended. We left with a jar of the Plum Jelly. I wish we'd also bought some of the muffins. Great for families, couples, and friends. A must stop."

"We had a wonderful time here the food was amazing. My friends we're so happy with the vegan options! Loved the salmon burger it was perfect. Sever was Karlee-Jean she was incredibly personable and attentive. She even drew cute doodles from our favorite movie on the recipient. The plum tea was phenomenal!"

"Our daughter and son-in-law recommended this restaurant. It's off the beaten path of Gatlinburg, and well worth finding. Be sure to have the wild plum tea...either hot or cold. We try not to order the same thing, but my husband and I each had the salmon burger on salad greens. It sounded too good to pass up, and lived up to our expectations. We shared the amaretto bread pudding for dessert. This is a meal we would look forward to having again."

"After 12 years vacationing in Gatlinburg and never stumbling upon it before, we decided to check out the Wild Plum Tea Room after being recommended by a friend. It was so great that I went back again the next day! I had many, many glasses of their famous Wild Plum tea, and finished off the meal with amaretto bread pudding (both days, because it was THAT good)! It's a small place, though, so anticipate a wait if they're busy. But it is worth the wait! Great view, too."
